ABOUT US
Qhuyaña is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free medical care to individuals with limited access to adequate healthcare services in poor and remote areas of Peru, in response to the growing neglect of many communities in the country where distance, poverty, and social discrimination continue to cause suffering. Our organization is the result of years of effort, aimed at expanding our impact and reaching more people and places while maintaining a long-term presence.
We have been working for a year now to consolidate, formalize, and expand, and with your help, we will achieve the dream of serving the largest number of Peruvians in need with the best quality and care possible.

We transform communities
At Qhuyaña we want to bring warm and timely medical care to those who need it most and who otherwise would not have easy access to it.
Our work focuses on promoting health in all its aspects, offering free medical care through health campaigns in remote areas and in communities in need.
In this way, we seek to provide all the necessary health care and attention within our scope, as well as provide health education, prevention programs and promotion of healthy lifestyles, we distribute medicines free of charge and any other relevant donation that we can obtain thanks to your support.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
We help where others cannot reach
Our focus is currently on communities located near 4000 meters above sea level, as well as some coastal communities facing conditions of poverty, overcrowding, or particular isolation. These are areas with difficult access, challenging climates, and populations dispersed over a wide geographic area, each with its own difficulties.
Many communities regularly lack water, sewage, electricity or amenities. They are several hours from the nearest hospital and usually without adequate means of transportation to get there.
With each campaign, we manage to serve around a thousand people with our current logistics and support, reaching more places and in more opportunities as our benefactors grow.
OUR PHILOSOPHY IN ONE WORD
Compassion
QHUYAÑA es is a word in a native Peruvian language that means “feeling compassion for the pain of others,” a concept that perfectly condenses our objectives and intentions for this project. It also means “healing,” which is how we want to create a better world.
